Prohibited Use Policy

Our diagnostic tools and applications must only be used for lawful, authorized and professional vehicle diagnostic, repair and maintenance purposes.

1. Authorized Diagnostic and Repair Use Only

Our products and services are intended for legitimate vehicle diagnostics, repair, maintenance, module replacement configuration, calibration, vehicle configuration and software-related service operations for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles.

Users are responsible for ensuring that every operation is lawful, authorized and compliant with local regulations, manufacturer requirements, workshop standards and professional safety procedures.

2. Illegal or Unauthorized Activities

You must not use our tools, software, website or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including:

  • Stealing, attacking, bypassing or compromising vehicle anti-theft systems.
  • Accessing, modifying or programming a vehicle without the vehicle owner's authorization.
  • Creating, programming or modifying keys, immobilizer data or security-related data for unlawful purposes.
  • Disabling, bypassing or manipulating vehicle safety systems in violation of law.
  • Changing, hiding, falsifying or tampering with VIN, odometer, mileage or vehicle identity information.
  • Using diagnostic functions to conceal vehicle faults, accident history or regulatory non-compliance.
  • Performing any operation that violates local vehicle, road safety, environmental, anti-theft or cybersecurity laws.

3. Emissions and Environmental Compliance

Users must comply with all applicable emissions, environmental, inspection, registration and road-use regulations in their jurisdiction.

Our products and services are not intended to delete, remove, disable, bypass, defeat or unlawfully modify original vehicle emissions or environmental control systems.

You must not use our tools or services to illegally disable, remove, bypass, defeat, manipulate or conceal the operation of emissions-related systems, including but not limited to DPF, EGR, SCR, AdBlue, catalyst, OBD monitoring, readiness monitors or other emissions control systems.

Any diagnostic, repair, replacement, calibration or configuration operation involving emissions-related components must be performed only for lawful repair and maintenance purposes and in compliance with applicable local laws and regulatory requirements.

4. Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Restrictions

Diagnostic, testing, calibration or service operations involving electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, high-voltage systems or related components must only be performed by properly trained and qualified personnel with appropriate authorization, equipment and safety procedures.

You must not perform high-voltage or hybrid vehicle operations if you do not have the required qualification, permission, training or safety equipment.

5. No Reverse Engineering, Cracking or Tampering

You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, crack, bypass or tamper with our software, license system or diagnostic tools.
  • Remove, alter or bypass activation, renewal, license, security or access-control mechanisms.
  • Copy, resell, sublicense, distribute or make unauthorized commercial use of our software or services.
  • Modify diagnostic data, software behavior or server communication in an unauthorized manner.

6. No Server Abuse or Cyber Attacks

You must not interfere with the normal operation of our website, servers, APIs, license systems or services, including:

  • Sending excessive, automated, abusive or malicious requests.
  • Attempting unauthorized access to servers, accounts, data, logs or service infrastructure.
  • Scanning, probing, attacking, overloading or disrupting our systems.
  • Uploading malware, exploit code or harmful content.
  • Attempting to bypass rate limits, verification systems or security controls.

7. User Responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the selection of functions, diagnostic operations, vehicle connection, repair decisions, coding, configuration, calibration and any resulting vehicle condition or legal consequence.

If an operation is restricted, prohibited or requires special authorization in your jurisdiction, you must not perform that operation unless you have the required legal authority and professional qualification.

8. Reporting Regulatory or Compliance Concerns

If you believe that any function in our tool may conflict with applicable laws, manufacturer requirements or regional compliance rules, please contact us.

We may review, restrict, modify or remove functions where necessary to support lawful and compliant use.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our website, software, license, renewal or support services if we reasonably believe that a user has violated this Prohibited Use Policy or applicable law.
